American Pre-Veterinary Medical
Association
2002-2003 Club Membership Guidelines
This application (listed below) is for club membership or renewal into the
American Pre-Veterinary Medical Association. The following are guidelines to
consider when completing this form.
- Membership registration entitles your club to participate in our national
symposium held in the spring. It also enables you to communicate with other
pre-veterinary clubs across the country via our website and e-mail list.
- Your club must be an undergraduate college-level pre-veterinary club to be
registered with the APVMA.
- This application should be filled out by a member of the executive board
(president, vice-president, secretary, or treasurer) or by the club’s
faculty advisor.
- The information you provide on this application is annually updated when
membership is renewed at the end of the year (year starts September 1, 2002 and ends August 31,
2003). Therefore, you must provide
contact information that will be consistent for that length of time. Should
this contact information change during the year, it is up to individual
clubs to contact and inform the APVMA of these changes.
- Annual fees consist of $1.00 per individual paid club member, with a
$15.00 minimum for clubs with 15 members or less.
- Checks should be made payable to the American Pre-Veterinary Medical
Association.
- For 2001-2002 APVMA membership, yearly dues for all clubs MUST be
turned in by December 1, 2002. Failure to do so will result in
ineligibility to attend the national symposium if held that spring. Any late
registrations will be considered on an individual basis.
- Send the completed application along with your club’s membership dues to
the current APVMA Treasurer.
- The APVMA reserves the right to reject any application submitted. If you have
any questions regarding membership contact the secretary or the
treasurer.
