American Pre-Veterinary Medical Association 
2002-2003 Individual Membership Guidelines


This application is for individual membership or renewal into the American Pre-Veterinary Medical Association. The following are guidelines to consider when completing this form.

  • This information will only be valid though the fiscal year the application was received, therefore, it is up to each individual to seek out an application and re-apply for the following year, if eligible.
  • You must be a registered student of an accredited college or university to become a member of our organization in any capacity.
  • To become a national officer, you must be a full-time student for the potential elected year and have been a member of the organization for at least one-year prior to being a candidate for election.
  • Should the college or university you attend obtain a pre-veterinary club that has become a member of the APVMA, you must register via your club to become an APVMA Member. Each year, the secretary seeks out newly formed clubs and indicates them on the APVMA web site under the pre-veterinary club section. If you college has a club that is not a member and would like to become a member, please contact the APVMA secretary for further information.
  • You are entitled to represent your college with one vote according to our constitution, should you so desire, at the President’s meeting held the Saturday morning of the event. You are only entitled to have a representative vote if your college does not have a pre-veterinary club in any capacity. Therefore, if your college has a pre-veterinary club, whether a member or not, you, as an individual member via this application, are not entitled to represent your school in such capacity.

  • The individual membership fee is $10.00.
  • The deadline for returning this application is December 1, 2002.
